Tyson is playing Jr Jazz Basketball with his fellow 2nd graders. He's the tallest player on his team and so far, leads the team in scoring. He's still undecided on his #1 favorite sport to play.

Thanksgiving Buffet
Thanksgiving dinner was at the Entrada Clubhouse this year. We ate prime rib, eggs, sausage, and some turkey. Tyson helped himself to six sausage links and Marcus had the omlette lady make him two plates of scrambled eggs. The prime rib and mashed potatoes were delightful.

Wrestling Mania
The boys are busy collecting gold medals once again. They've been wrestling in meets all over Northern Utah practicing their "half nelsons". If you can overlook the dirty mats, ringworm, rashes, and smashed ears, wrestling is a great spectator sport. The boys are willing to wear headgear and wrestling shoes, but I haven't yet won them over on the singlet. Maybe next year.

Halloween 2008
The boys trick-or-treated in Morgan this year. The weather was beautiful and the candy was delicious. Tyson was a ninja, Marcus was a clone trooper, Kaylee was a cheerleader, Jordan was a football player, and Jack was a little wolf. We first walked down Commerical Street to trick-or-treat at the businesses and then went door to door.

A Very Marcus Birthday
Marcus celebrated his 7th birthday last Saturday. It was an Indiana Jones/High School Musical themed party. His favorite present was from Big Papa and Little Gramma - an Indiana Jones Lego set. Aunt Liz sent a High School Musical card with a Hannah Montana Wal-Mart gift card. It seems all of Marcus' birthday wishes came true. I think Tyson liked the Lego set as much as Marcus- see victory dance below. I love you, Marcus!

Small Town Football
I’ll admit- the thought of my 2nd grader playing tackle football was a little unsettling. However, his little helmet, tight white pants (and skinny, tan legs), full padding, and cleats won me over. I love being a football mom and I love watching Tyson play Center for his Morgan football team. He practices 4 nights a week for 2 hours, and plays 4 quarters every Saturday. Tyson takes the game very seriously just like his Dad, the defensive coach. I can't wait to double the fun next year when Marcus is playing. Go Trojans!
